THE ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY
The Inn at University Village has been a part of the Tampa Bay community for over 30 years, specializing in the continuity of care as resident’s age in place. The dedicated staff are available around-the-clock to serve the community and are always eager to showcase the property to potential new residents and families while discussing the advantages of choosing The Inn for all their continuing health needs. Their goal every day is to ensure that all residents are living their best lives possible!
The Inn at University Village is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community located just minutes from the University of South Florida and James A. Haley VA Medical Center. The Inn offers 71 Assisted Living apartments and 29 Memory Care apartments in the secured community. The Inn provides 3 restaurant-style meals a day, laundry and housekeeping services, activities and outings, and all-inclusive levels of care that allow our residents to age in place and never have to move out of the community. The Inn offers competitive rates and promotions as well as some of the largest rooms one can find anywhere in Hillsborough county!
The committed team of professionals work with the residents every day to ensure that all needs are being met and include families so they are always an important part of the resident’s care and well-being.
Residents have access to a range of physicians and Home Health companies that aid in their long-term health. The Inn also has an on-site therapy gym that provides outpatient services if the resident may need so.
University Village Health Center
THE SKILLED NURSING COMMUNITY
University Village Health Center provides around-the-clock nursing care, both short-term and long-term, and a full spectrum of skilled nursing services. Those services include but are not limited to IV management, would care and wound vacs, infectious diseases management (isolation rooms), specialize in COPD and CHF, dialysis care, fall prevention programs, balance and strength training, dementia staging, dysphagia therapy, and weight loss programs. In our most recent survey, using new federal survey process, our facility only took 5 citations, with scope and severity of a D-level. We also offer private suites for certain individuals!
Our full interdisciplinary team includes a Medical Director, a group of Physicians, Social Workers, Registered Dietitian, Nurse Management, Life Enrichment, Therapist, and Administration. Collectively they work together with the resident and families to determine the appropriate discharge plan for each individual resident based off of their progress and level of care.
We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy seven days a week and accept a variety of insurances, Medicare and Medicaid payer sources.
The Health Center at University Village has been fortunate to align themselves with many specialty physicians who assist in the excellent care and services in our community. Specialty physicians include but are not limited to Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Podiatrist, Physiatrist, Pulmonologist, Wound Care Specialists, Audiologists, and Dentistry. We also provide nutritional management and services from our Registered Dietician and medication management and consulting from our Pharmacy services provider.
